On January 18, Can Tho City Police held a ceremony to launch the pickleball club and inaugurate the stadium. This is one of the city police activities aimed at celebrating the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the People’s Police of Vietnam (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025), 20 years of the festival of all people protecting national security. (August 19, 2005 – August 19, 2025) and continue to effectively carry out the campaign for the entire population to exercise physically following the example of the great Uncle Ho.

On this occasion, Can Tho City Police also officially put into operation 3 spacious pickleball courts. Immediately after the launching ceremony, Can Tho City Police pickleball club organized an exchange competition between leaders, representatives of districts, departments, branches, branches…. The competition atmosphere was exciting, cheerful in the spirit of exchange, learning, and connection to tighten the solidarity between units.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hoang Phuc, Head of the Internal Political Security Department of Can Tho City Police, Chairman of the pickleball club, said that the club will have assignments, specific training programs and plans, to choose from. Athletes with the potential to compete in sports events of the police sector in general.
In addition, Can Tho City Police Pickleball Club will also increase organization and exchange competitions with other units, in order to more effectively launch the movement of exercise, sports, and health training. as well as effectively implementing the campaign for the entire population to exercise physically following the example of the great Uncle Ho.
