What is Flexi Cap Funds?
In flexi cap funds, the fund manager has complete freedom to invest in any stock falling in large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap segments. This flexibility allows the manager to allocate funds among stocks of different segments and sectors as per the market conditions. If the fund manager feels that large caps are performing well, he can allocate a large portion of the fund to large-cap stocks. Similarly, if needed, fund allocation in mid-cap or small-cap stocks can also be increased or decreased.
