Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people on the first anniversary of the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Prime Minister described the temple as a “great heritage of our culture and spirituality”.

Last year, this holy event was celebrated on Kurma Dwadashi of Shukla Paksha of Pausha month of Hindu calendar.
This year Shukla Paksha is falling on 11 January. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the program by anointing Ram Lalla. The day will begin with Agnihotra and will include mantras from Shukla Yajurveda. After this, 6 lakh Shri Ram Mantras will be chanted and also Ram Raksha Stotra and Hanuman Chalisa will be recited.
Raga Seva will be organized on the temple ground floor from 3 pm to 5 pm, followed by a congratulatory song at 6 pm. Similarly, there will be a musical Manas Path on the first floor of the Passenger Facilitation Centre. Ram Katha has also been organized at Angad Tila inside the temple premises, after which there will be Manas discourse and cultural programs.
