Los Angeles police have opened an investigation into suspected arson related to the Kenneth fire. “What we know right now is that the incident happened, it started here and about 20-30 minutes later, a suspect was arrested by citizens in Woodland Hills,” Mr. Dinsel said, saying that the Kenneth fire was caused by Someone intentionally set a fire. Witness Renata Grinshpun told KTLA that she saw one person shouting for the arrest of another person who was trying to set a fire, holding a gas can or flamethrower. Several men surrounded and tied him up until the police arrived. The suspect is believed to be a homeless man in his 30s, according to Fox News.
