How to register for Pucca House under PM Awaas Yojana Gramin via Latest Awaasplus 2024 survey: If you are homeless or are still forced to live in a kutcha house, then there is no need to worry anymore because the survey of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin has started again. Eligible beneficiaries can register sitting at home. You can get information related to the scheme from your Panchayat Secretary or Block Development Officer. To avail the benefits of PM Awas Yojana Gramin, you can also register yourself on your phone. For this, it is necessary to have both Awaasplus survey app (Awaasplus 2024 survey) and AadhaarFaceRD (AadhaarFaceRD) apps in the phone.

Awaasplus 2024 survey: Download Awaasplus app from here
First of all go to the official website of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin pmayg.nic.in.
Click on the AwaasPlus Survey (AwaasPlus2024 Survey new) active link visible on the right side of the home page. A new tab will open. If you are opening the pmayg.nic.in portal on your phone, then click on the main menu option and click on the AwaasPlus (AwaasPlus2024 Survey new) active link visible at the bottom.
The latest version of Aavas Plus app visible on the front screen (Download the latest App version for Awaasplus 2024 survey from the link given below.
An application of approximately 95.24MB will be downloaded to your phone. Install it.
If Aadhaar FaceRD app is not already available in your phone, then install it from Google Play Store. Both apps are absolutely free.

It is important to understand here that the Aadhaar FaceRD app is found in Apps Manager in Settings instead of the home screen. You can see it in app management by going to your phone settings. This app (Aadhaar FaceRD) is used in the background process of Aavas Plus app. Therefore, it is very important to have Aadhaar FaceRD app in the phone.
Register like this to avail the benefits of housing scheme
After installing both the apps, now you have to open the Aavas Plus app. After this you select any one of 6 languages including English, Hindi, Bengali.
- Now two options for face authentication i.e. face verification – Assisted Survey and Self Survey – will be visible on your phone screen. Assisted survey is for registered surveyors. The self-survey option is for the common people.
- If you want to register yourself to avail the benefits of PM Awas Yojana Gramin, then choose the self-survey option.
- Now enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number and click on the Authenticate i.e. Face Authentication button.
- Now create a 4 digit PIN. This PIN can be used for many purposes like opening the app or checking the application status.
- Now select your address.
- In the next step, four options will appear on the screen. In which click on the first option Add or Edit Survey.
- The requested details are name, Aadhaar number, job card number (for those working in MNREGA), gender, social category like SC, ST or others, age, marital status, father or husband’s name, mobile number, education. Give information about occupation, total number of members in the family, whether any member is disabled or suffering from a serious illness and finally fill the details of the total annual income of the family.
- Now fill the details of the family members like name, Aadhaar number, mobile number, gender, education, occupation, marital status.
- In case there is more than one member in the family, you will be asked to select whom you want to make the beneficiary. If there is more than one woman in the family, then select one female member as the beneficiary. However, any member from the available options can be selected as the beneficiary.
- Keep in mind that whoever has been selected as a beneficiary will also have to go through the face verification process. In case the beneficiary does not have Aadhaar, the image can be captured offline and processed further.
- Now fill the bank details. In case you do not have a bank account, proceed by clicking on the given check box to update the bank details later.
- Now fill the answers to more than 20 housing related questions in yes or no and also tell the number of rooms and source of income.
- Now at whatever location your kutcha house or old house is, take 3 photographs from different angles within a radius of 15 meters and fill the remarks and click on Save and Next button.
- Take three photographs of the land on which you want a permanent house under the scheme.
- Now it will be asked whether the beneficiary wants to join the mason training. Also, the beneficiary will be given 4 options to choose the design of the house.
- Select any one of these and click on the Proceed button.
- At last, check the preview of all the details filled during survey registration and give your consent and click on the Proceed button. By doing this your registration will be done.
These housing related questions have to be answered
- Whether the person included in the survey is actually the owner of the house or lives temporarily or in a rented house.
- Are the walls and roof solid or raw?
- what is the number of rooms
- Whether arrangement for latrine is available or not
- what is the source of income
- Whether there is a three or four-wheeler in the house or not
- Whether there are three or four-wheeler agricultural equipments such as tractors or not
- Whether any member of the family has a Kisan Credit Card or not
- Whether any member is in government job or not
- Does any member of the family run a business that is legally recognized and established as per government regulations? That means that business is not related to agriculture.
- Does anyone in the house earn more than Rs 15 thousand per month or not?
- Whether there is any income tax payer or professional tax payer in the household or not
- Whether the household owns 2.5 acres or more of irrigated land
- Whether the family owns 5 acres or more of un-irrigated land.
- Does the family have no permanent or temporary house to live in i.e. the beneficiary is homeless.
- Is the family extremely poor? He has no permanent means to meet his needs. Is he living by begging or on donated things?
- Is there land to build a house or not?
- Does the family work to clean sewage and toilets?
- Will the family get the benefit of this housing scheme for the first time?
