New Delhi:Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has made another big announcement in a press conference. He asked the people of Delhi not to pay wrong water bills. People who have received wrong water bills do not need to pay them. After the elections their wrong bills will be waived off.
AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said, “Our government in Delhi has been providing free water to the people for the last 10 years. More than 12 lakh families get 0 water bill. But after I went to jail, I don’t know what these people did. They did something wrong and people started getting water bills worth thousands and lakhs of rupees every month. I would like to publicly and officially announce that people who feel that their bills are incorrect do not need to pay their water bills, they should wait. After the elections, AAP government will be formed and we will get their wrong bills waived off. This is my promise to all people, this is my guarantee.”
On the other hand, a group of women from Punjab protested outside the residence of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi and claimed that the promises made by him during the Punjab Assembly elections have not been fulfilled yet.
Amidst the allegations against Aam Aadmi Party, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal today said, “Those women belong to their (Congress and BJP) parties. They have not come from Punjab, the women of Punjab are with us. He has faith in AAP. Congress and BJP should officially announce that they are contesting together against AAP in Delhi…”
