Nguyen Dong Nang, a fourth-year student, not only stands out with his skills on the field but also impresses with his enthusiasm and sincerity. His and To Uyen’s love story began on a chance occasion when Nang helped a friend move house. Uyen, a girl from Bao Loc, is this friend’s housemate.
“My first impression was that you were very strong, very good at moving house, and enthusiastic to help. After that, I knew you played soccer very well, so I often cheered you on,” Uyen shared.
Recalling the day he moved house, Dong Nang humorously said: “Yes, it was quite a bargain. Even though I didn’t get much, having a pretty girlfriend cheering for each match was great.”
Although he did not score in the match, Dong Nang had an excellent assist to help his teammates score. Playing with enthusiasm, Nang said his biggest motivation was the support from his girlfriend in the stands.
“I feel very motivated to compete. This is the reason for me to run on the field. Everyone tried their best and achieved the best possible results,” Nang shared after the match.
As for Uyen, she did not hesitate to admit that she was the first to take the initiative. “She opened her heart to me first so I asked her out. During important matches, I was always there to cheer for her,” she recounted with a happy smile.

Dong Nang and To Uyen both expressed hope that the team will achieve the highest results in this year’s tournament.
