Coach Kim Sang-sik: Must fight for the fans
“The Vietnamese team is going through a busy schedule, but the players are very focused. We play like a true team. We will be determined to play well in tomorrow’s match,” coach Kim Sang-sik shared with the press on the afternoon of December 28, before the semi-final second leg against Singapore.
The Vietnamese team won 2-0 against Singapore away from home in the semi-final first leg at Jalan Besar. This result helps the whole team put one foot in the finals, while still maintaining an unbeaten record (4 wins, 1 draw).
As long as they do not lose by more than 1 goal difference, the Vietnamese team will have the third time in the last 4 periods to appear in the AFF Cup final. However, Mr. Kim Sang-sik affirmed that the whole team will not be subjective.

Singapore plays long ball very well
Besides being careful, coach Kim Sang-sik also carefully analyzed Singapore’s playing style. He hopes the Vietnamese team will defend well in long ball situations.
“In the first half of the match against Singapore, we couldn’t score. Fortunately, in the second half, the Vietnamese team made an effort.
