Clash over scheme to give Rs 2100 to women
Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi recently announced to give Rs 2100 every month to non-taxpaying women under “Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana”. Registration of people under this scheme was also started. But the Women and Child Development Department of Delhi Government has issued a public notice saying that no such scheme has been notified yet.
The department’s notice said, “Some political party is claiming to give Rs 2100 per month, but this scheme has not been notified yet. If ever this scheme is notified, an official digital portal will be launched for it.” .” Officials termed the registration for this scheme as a misleading and fraudulent activity and appealed to the public not to trust any such information.

Controversy broke out on Sanjeevani scheme also
The Chief Minister of Delhi has also promised to provide free treatment to the elderly above 60 years of age in government and private hospitals under the Sanjeevani scheme. But this scheme, which promises free treatment for the elderly, has also been declared fake by the Health and Family Welfare Department of the Delhi Government. In the notice issued by the department officials, it has been said that in the name of this scheme, people are reaching hospitals and government offices to get information, but this scheme has not been implemented yet.

Clash between bureaucracy and government
This is perhaps the first incident in the country of the schemes announced by the Chief Minister of a state being termed as fake by the bureaucracy of the same state. Whereas Arvind Kejriwal hit back at BJP in a social media post and wrote, “These people are scared of Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana. They have planned to arrest Atishi ji and raid the houses of senior AAP leaders. “

What is the current status of the schemes?
In fact, currently the proposal of giving Rs 1,000 every month under the Mahila Samman Yojana has been approved in the Delhi budget. But the promise of giving Rs 2100 instead of Rs 1000 and the scheme of free treatment for the elderly above 60 years of age have not yet received the approval of the Cabinet.
