Installment of Ladki Bahin Yojana is coming soon
The Maharashtra government had earlier this year launched the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana to provide assistance of Rs 1,500 per month to eligible women. It is believed that this scheme played a big role in the landslide victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party led Mahayuti alliance in the elections. Talking to news agency PTI-Bhasha, Tatkare said that currently there are 2.34 crore beneficiaries under this scheme. He said that direct benefit transfer of installments has started from today. Rs 1,500 will be transferred and after four days information will be available as to how many beneficiaries the amount was given.

Tatkare said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ that this assistance is to financially empower women and provide stability to their families. Its objective is not only empowerment but also to increase their self-confidence. He said that we are confident that the financial assistance provided by this scheme will bring positive changes in their lives.
