Encounter continues between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information received, in the ongoing encounter between the two, five terrorists were killed while two soldiers were also injured. After the encounter, the security forces team is now conducting a search operation in the area.

Officials said the security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in Kaddar of Behibagh area of the district on Wednesday night after receiving information about the presence of suspected terrorists. After some time the search operation turned into an encounter. The terrorists started firing on the security forces, after which the army personnel retaliated.
Let us tell you that in the last few days, terrorist incidents were reported in Jammu and Kashmir, after which the security forces have intensified anti-terror operations in the valley. Two months ago, on October 28, three terrorists were killed by security forces in Akhnoor area of Jammu. Then the terrorists ambushed the army convoy, after which the security forces started the operation in the area. Three terrorists were killed during this operation. Arms and ammunition were found from the killed terrorists.
