Public sector Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has reduced its stake in NMDC Limited by 2 percent. After the deal, LIC’s stake in state-run NMDC has come down to 5.6 per cent, which was earlier 7.6 per cent. LIC said it has sold more than 5.91 crore shares or 2 per cent stake in NMDC through a series of market sales in the period from September 2023 to December 2024.

Reliance Industries has acquired 74 percent stake in Navi Mumbai IIA (NMIIA) for Rs 1,628.03 crore. City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) holds the remaining 26 per cent equity shares in NMIIA. With this acquisition, NMIIA has become a subsidiary of the company.
Ambuja cement
Adani Group company Ambuja Cements announced the launch of a 200 MW solar power project in Khavra, Gujarat. Green energy will be supplied to 20 cement factories from this project. The Khavda project is part of Adani Cement’s plan to achieve one gigawatt of green energy from solar and wind projects as well as 376 MW of power from WHRS (Waste Heat Recovery System).
Senco Gold
Kolkata-based retail jewelery chain Senco Gold Ltd has raised Rs 459 crore through QIP by allotting 40.8 lakh equity shares. Senco Gold said the QIP committee of the company’s board has approved the issue and allotment of equity shares worth Rs 10 each. These shares have been issued at a price of Rs 1125 per share, which also includes a premium of Rs 1115.

Indus Towers will buy 26 per cent stake in JSW Green Energy Eight for Rs 38.03 crore to get renewable energy from solar PV plant. Indus Towers informed the stock market that it will get 130 MW of renewable energy from the solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant.
