Maharashtra: Mahayuti meeting suddenly cancelled, Eknath Shinde left for his village
It has been almost a week since the election results were declared in Maharashtra, but the Mahayuti has not yet announced the name of the next Chief Minister. It was being told that the name of the Chief Minister was to be announced in Maharashtra today i.e. on Friday, for this a meeting of the Grand Alliance was also to be held. But even before that, this important meeting of Mahayuti has been suddenly cancelled.
According to local media, former CM Ek Nath Shinde is going to his Moolgaon Satara. This meeting will not take place for the next 2 days. Earlier, Eknath Shinde had come before the media and made it clear that the decision taken by PM Narendra Modi will be followed, but despite this, the opposition is continuously raising questions about the non-official announcement of the name of the CM and is claiming that That there is a tussle going on regarding the name of CM in Mahayuti. However, BJP leader Sudhir Mungtiwar does not believe that there is a delay in forming the government.
It is noteworthy that on Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had a meeting with the top leaders of the Mahayuti parties. Ajit Pawar, Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis attended this meeting. After the meeting, sources had informed that Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar have agreed to make Fadnavis the CM. BJP has given assurance of giving due respect to Eknath Shinde.
