New Delhi: Fog has created havoc in many parts of the country. A blanket of dense fog has covered the sky. Storm Fangal is wreaking havoc in the southern states of India. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning that there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on November 28.
IMD further said, there is a possibility of rain in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 28 and 30.
IMD has expressed the possibility of dense fog in the northern areas of India. The Meteorological Department has also warned that a new western disturbance is expected in the western Himalayan region from November 29. There is a possibility of dense fog in the morning at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh from November 28 to November 29, in Uttar Pradesh from November 28 to December 1, and at isolated places in Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana from November 28 to December 1. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding fog in Delhi-NCR for Thursday and Friday (28 and 29 November). The Meteorological Department has said that visibility may reduce in the coming days due to dense fog. Due to this, there is a possibility of further drop in temperature in the morning and night. There are chances of increasing cold, due to which people need to be careful.
