Paramountis the first solo exhibition of designer, Creative Director Cuong Dam. The opening event on the evening of November 26 in Ho Chi Minh City marked a new turning point in his creative journey, following the highlights from the catwalk. Rendezvouscollection Figureand fashion space Inflowing.
Paramount sets up a new frame of reference for the concept of deity. The god is not far away but exists inside each person, going through countless slices waiting for the moment to be released. The Seed is the opening space where the child is born from the mother and is also the first moment of meeting between the child and the god inside each person. “The starting point of the ultimate god resides within each individual,” the artist confided

16 works in the central space The Versions is the author’s inner dialogue. The work is displayed in a symmetrical layout following an ellipse, symbolizing two groups of emotions: Sensation and Reason.

The development journey of human life is spread out through 16 works in space The Versions.
Accordingly, The Source, Amanok representing the images of mother and father – the first two great people a child meets in life. Viewers encounter themselves within The First Sense of Selfthe first frame each person builds for themselves; go through the complexes of Racing Heart, Body Heat or the journey to find the true self from the “darkness” of Eclipse, The Cut and Labyrinth.
When the struggles between light and dark, hidden and visible are closely linked, Apatheia gradually appear. This is a state of mind that is not affected by negative emotions, fear or passion, leaving only calm and strong energy from within. An open ending, a god waiting to be revealed right after One Soul (Unified Soul).
Space The VersionsLike a maze of the mind, where each individual dialogues with countless versions of “me” coexisting on the journey to find the highest self.

The large common space is like a “temple” but has no religious color. There, with the main language being fabric combined with statues, sculptures, light and sound shows, the male artist opens up and shares his journey of deep inner discovery.

The final space bears the name of the exhibition – Paramount takes the viewer into the prayer room of the ultimate self. Here, each person discovers for themselves that the god is not an external supreme being, but himself – the “higher self” – the deep god that exists within each person.
In a space of moving light and quiet sound, conflicts are finally reconciled. There is no longer a duality between bad and good, right and wrong, but every experience – even deep trauma – becomes a necessary part of creating the multidimensional picture called life.

The male artist said that even though he faced great fear of having to expose his weaknesses along with his strengths through the exhibition, he still chose to commit, thereby giving the audience a unique vision. Honest experience of the concept of “the god within oneself”.
“I want to dedicate these works to those who have lost faith in themselves, that the vast, powerful being is always here, inside of you, just waiting to be released. Just Only with friends are you brave enough to take the initiative in determining your own destiny,” Cuong Dam said.
Next to the exhibition is a Pop up like a small shop, where Hanoi artists introduce fashion designs from CDam and Chats by CDam as an experimental and exploratory activity with fashionistas in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region
