Pension for elderly people will start from one time in Delhi, they will get Rs 2500 every month, Kejriwal announced
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has given a big gift to the elderly residents of Delhi on Monday before the New Year. Arvind Kejriwal has announced to restart the pension for the elderly of Delhi once again. He announced that the elderly between 60 to 69 years will get Rs 2000 every month and the elderly above 70 will get Rs 2500 every month as pension.

He said that this will provide pension to 5.30 lakh elderly people of Delhi. He said that 80 thousand new elders are being added to this scheme. With this we will get the blessings of the elders and our revenue will also increase.He said that the elderly of Delhi are getting the highest pension in the country.
Now 80 thousand more elderly people in Delhi will get a pension of Rs 2000 per month.
Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced this on Monday. He said that the portal has become operational from yesterday. In the last 24 hours alone, 10 thousand applications have been received for this.
Arvind Kejriwal said in a press conference with Chief Minister Atishi and Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, ’80 thousand old age pensions are being opened in Delhi. When our government was formed in 2015, 3.32 lakh elderly people were getting pension. We increased it to about Rs 4.50 lakh. Now another increase of 80 thousand is taking place. The pension of the elderly was stopped for many years. Wherever I was going, elders were demanding to start pension.
