Air quality in Delhi is at danger level, AQI crossed 500, schools closed in NCR too
The country’s national capital Delhi and NCR have turned into gas chambers these days. People are finding it difficult to even breathe. Actually, the air quality in Delhi-NCR is in very poor condition. The Central Pollution Control Board has released AQI figures in different areas of Delhi. According to which there are many areas of Delhi where AQI has reached 500.

AQI crossed 500 in these areas
AQI remains at the level of 500 in Alipur, 500 in Anand Vihar and 500 in Bawana. 496 in DTU, 496 in Dwarka Sector 8, 500 in Dilshad Garden, 386 in ITO, 500 in Jahangirpuri, 500 in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, 493 in Lodhi Road, Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium 499, 500 in Mandir Marg, 500 in Mundka and Najafgarh. AQI has reached 491. Delhi’s air quality remains in the severe category. In such a situation, Grape 4 has been implemented in Delhi. For this reason, apart from Delhi, schools in Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut have been closed and classes will now be conducted through online medium.

Now Group 4 restrictions have been implemented in Delhi-NCR.Due to this, along with Delhi, schools of NCR have also been closed, where classes will now be conducted not through physical medium but through online medium.

Online classes will also run in these colleges of Delhi
Amid deteriorating air quality levels in Delhi, Delhi University (DU) announced to conduct online classes till November 23 and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) till November 22. The decision has been taken at a time when the air quality index (AQI) in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) has reached ‘dangerously high’ levels, raising concerns over health and safety. AQI in Delhi was 494 at 4 pm.
