The protesting students in Allahabad have got a big relief. On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has accepted the demand of the students. Accepting the demand of the students, the Commission has decided to conduct the PCS examination in a single shift. Now the Commission will conduct the examination in one day only. Notification for this will also be issued soon.
Actually, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission had decided to conduct the examinations of PCS Preliminary 2024 and RO-ARP Preliminary-2023 in two days, in two shifts. After which the students of Prayagraj were protesting against this decision of UPPSC. Now Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has decided to conduct the examination in one day.
A committee has been constituted by the Commission for RO/ARO (Pre.) Examination-2023. The committee will soon consider all the aspects and submit its detailed report. Let us inform that UPPSC Secretary Ashok Kumar has met the protesting students.
