ICICI Bank FY25 Q2 Results:ICICI Bank released the results for the second quarter ending September 30. In the July-September quarter of the current financial year, the standalone net profit of the second largest private sector bank increased by 14.5 percent to Rs 11,746 crore. The net profit of the bank in the same quarter a year ago was Rs 10,261 crore. During this period, the consolidated net profit of the bank increased by 19 percent to Rs 12,948 crore, which was Rs 10,896 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
9.5% jump in NII
In the information given to the stock market on Saturday, the bank said that its total income increased to Rs 47,714 crore in the September quarter, which was Rs 40,697 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year. The interest income of the bank increased to Rs 40,537 crore, which was Rs 34,920 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year. The bank’s net interest income increased by 9.5 percent to Rs 20,048 crore, from Rs 18,308 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.

Asset quality improved
Talking about asset quality, by the end of September 2024, the gross NPA of ICICI Bank has come down to 1.97 percent of the gross loans, whereas it was 2.48 percent a year ago. Similarly, net NPA declined to 0.42 per cent, which was 0.43 per cent at the end of the second quarter of the last financial year.
