Vodafone Idea results will come today
Vodafone Idea and Voltas will release their June quarter results today on 12 August 2024. Apart from these, results of Balrampur Chini Mills, Campus Activewear, Dhanlaxmi Bank, Happiest Minds, Hindustan Copper, IRFC, Natco Pharma, NALCO, NMDC and SJVN will also be declared.
Godrej Properties
Real estate company Godrej Properties has set a target of launching residential projects worth Rs 21,000 crore by March 2025 in major cities to achieve 20 per cent growth in sales booking in the current financial year amid strong consumer demand. The company is confident of achieving the target of sales booking of Rs 27,000 crore in the current financial year. In the last financial year (2023-24), the company’s sales booking was a record Rs 22,527 crore with a jump of 84 per cent.
LIC
Siddharth Mohanty, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), says that the insurance company is considering making a new investment of about Rs 1.30 lakh crore in shares during the current financial year. LIC has invested about Rs 38,000 crore in shares during April-June in the financial year 2024-25. This amount was Rs 23,300 crore in the same period a year ago. In the first quarter of the current financial year, LIC earned a profit of Rs 15,500 crore from its investment in the equity markets.
Aurobindo Pharma
Aurobindo Pharma’s profit increased 61 percent year-on-year to Rs 919 crore in the June quarter. The pharmaceutical company had reported a profit of Rs 571 crore in the April-June quarter of the last financial year. Operating income increased to Rs 7,567 crore in the June quarter, while it was Rs 6,851 crore in the same period a year ago.
ONGC
The company has received government approval to invest an additional Rs 10,502 crore in ONGC Petro Addition through equity. The government approved allocation of 50 per cent of the company’s annual gas production from new wells for feedstock support of OPaL. A total investment of Rs 18365 crore will be made.
Siemens
Siemens’ profit for the June quarter has increased by 25 percent to Rs 531 crore. The company said that this jump in its profit has come due to increased income. The company’s profit was Rs 424 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year. The company said that its income has increased by 7 percent to Rs 4,714 crore in the June quarter, which was Rs 4,407 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year.
Canara Bank
Public sector Canara Bank has increased the MCLR by 0.05 percent. This increase has been done for loans of all tenures. This will make most consumer loans expensive. Canara Bank said in a notice to the stock market that the MCLR for one year tenure will now be 9 percent, currently it is 8.95. It is used to decide the interest on most consumer loans like vehicle and personal.
