Vodafone Idea gives big blow to customers: Vodafone Idea, one of the three major mobile service companies in the country, has given another shock to its customers. The company has increased the tariff i.e. the prices of all its plans this month. And now it is coming to light that despite increasing the price, the company has ended the benefit of unlimited data available to customers in one of its popular plans. The country’s two largest mobile service companies – Reliance Jio and Airtel – also made their plans expensive along with Vodafone Idea. Therefore, now this question is also arising in the minds of the customers that are Jio and Airtel also going to give a new shock after increasing the price? Anyway, let us know what other changes have been made in the popular plan of Vodafone Idea after increasing the tariff.
Important change in Vi’s popular plan
Vodafone Idea (Vi)’s Rs 701 postpaid plan has been quite popular. This month, the company increased the tariff of this plan to Rs 751. But along with increasing the price, Vi has also reduced the benefits available on this plan. That is, customers have suffered a double blow. When the tariff of Vodafone Idea’s plan was Rs 701, it used to offer unlimited data. But after increasing the tariff to Rs 751, the company has stopped providing unlimited data. Whereas unlimited data has been the biggest feature of this plan for the customers. In such a situation, now it remains to be seen whether the old customers who subscribed to this plan of Vi remain with it even after this shock or would prefer to switch to another plan or company.

Now what are the benefits of this plan
With Vi’s Rs 751 postpaid plan, now only 150GB data will be available instead of unlimited. Apart from this, customers will get the option to roll-over their remaining data every month. But within the limit of 200 GB. The relief is that there will be no limit on the data used by customers adopting this plan between 12 midnight and 6 am. That is, you can still consider the data used during this time as unlimited. Apart from this, customers will get the benefits of unlimited voice calls and 3000 SMS every month in this plan.

OTT and other benefits in Vi’s new plan
In Vi’s Rs 751 postpaid plan, the company is also giving its customers the option to choose any 3 from the list of additional benefits. These options include 6 months of Amazon Prime membership, 1 year of Disney Plus Hotstar super membership, one year of SonyLiv Premium subscription, one year of SunNXT subscription. Customers can choose any three of these. Apart from these OTT subscriptions, the list from which customers have been given the option to choose 3 benefits also includes one year of EaseMyTrip membership and Norton Mobile Security subscription. But the question is, will customers prefer to take a postpaid plan of Rs 751 for these subscriptions or memberships after the benefit of unlimited data is discontinued?
