This is how you can find out how many SIM cards you have in your name
The Department of Telecommunications had released a portal through which you can find out how many SIM cards are running in your name.
- For this, you will first have to go to tafcop.sancharsaathi.gov.in.
- Here you have to enter your mobile number.
- After this you will receive an OTP.
- On entering this, a new page will open, where the captcha code will have to be entered.
- After which OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
- By filling this you will be able to easily login to the portal.
- After logging in, a list will open on the screen.
- From here, by providing your ID details, you can easily find out which mobile numbers are active on your ID.

Block the number like this
If you find a number here that you do not know, you can report it through the TAFCOP portal. Then it will be investigated by the government. After the investigation is completed, the number will be blocked.

What is TAFCOP Portal?
The full form of TAFCOP is Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection. This facility (TAFCOP Mobile Number Check Portal) can be accessed through the Sanchar Sathi portal. It provides mobile users with information about the mobile connections issued in their name. Through the TAFCOP module, mobile users can check how many connections have been taken in their name. Also, it allows reporting of those mobile connections which are either not required i.e. have been closed or the connection has not been taken by the user.
