Tata Motors has partnered with Bajaj Finance Limited to provide financing solutions for its entire commercial vehicle segment. Tata Motors said in a statement that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bajaj Finance Limited, part of Bajaj Finserv Limited, for this. Customers will benefit from Bajaj Finance’s wide reach, competitive interest rates, ‘flexi’ loans and digitally enabled loan distribution.
JSW Steel
JSW Steel USA, a subsidiary of JSW Steel, plans to invest $110 million to modernize its steel plate mill in Baytown, Texas with new equipment and sustainable technology. According to the company, this investment will enable the production of high-quality monopile steel plates, which will support the US administration’s new steps to expand offshore wind energy.
Happiest Minds
Ashok Suta, promoter and executive chairman of IT services company Happiest Minds Technologies, has sold 6 percent stake in the company for Rs 763 crore. These shares were sold at a price of Rs 834.87 per share. The total value of the deal was Rs 762.77 crore. Information about the buyers of Happiest Minds Technologies shares is not available at present.
Kubota Escorts
The Customs Authority has ordered a demand and penalty of more than Rs 14 crore against Escorts Kubota Limited, a company manufacturing agricultural and construction equipment. The company said that it will challenge this order. Escorts Kubota told the stock market that the Customs Commissioner (Adjudication) of Delhi region passed an order confirming the demand of Rs 4,42,10,867 with interest.
Ultratech Cement
Aditya Birla Group company UltraTech Cement said that it has offered to acquire 25 per cent stake in UAE-based RAKWCT in a revised proposal. About a month ago, in its previous proposal, the company had offered to acquire 31.6 per cent. UltraTech said on May 27 that it has made an offer to acquire 31.6 per cent stake and 15.80 crore shares in RAK Cement Company for White Cement and Construction Materials PSC.
Sanghi Industries
Promoters Ambuja Cements and Ravi Sanghi will sell up to 3.52 percent stake through offer for sale. Ambuja Cements will sell up to 2.36 percent stake, while Ravi Sanghi will sell up to 1.16 percent stake. The floor price of the offer for sale has been fixed at Rs 90 per share. The offer for sale will open for non-retail investors on June 26 and for retail investors on June 27.
