The last date for updating Aadhaar is near. If you have not updated your identity and address proof details in Aadhaar yet, then do it quickly. There are less than 10 days left for this. In the meantime, you will not have to spend money to update Aadhaar, that is, the last date to update Aadhaar for free is 14 June. After this date, you will have to spend money to update address or identity related details. UIDAI has set the last date for uploading free documents supporting identity and address as June 14, 2024. This free service is available only on the myAadhaar portal. The fee for uploading documents is Rs 50. If the documents are submitted physically, the same amount is charged.

These documents will be needed
Ration card, Voter ID card, Government issued Identification Card/Address Certificate and Indian Passport serve as proof of both identity and address.
PAN Card, Driving Licence, Secondary or Senior School Marksheet/School Leaving Certificate with Photograph, Government Issued Identity Card/Certificate – serve as proof of identity only.
Electricity/Water/Gas bill (last 3 months), Bank/Post Office passbook, Rent/Lease/Leave and License agreement only serve as proof of address.

Enter Aadhaar number and captcha
Click on ‘send OTP’ and enter the OTP received on your linked number.
After this select Update Demographics Data.
On the next page, select the correct options and click on ‘Proceed’.
You can make necessary changes on the next page.
Upload the required documents.
Check the details entered.
Submit the change request.
If you have requested for change of address, you can check the status of the request through Update Request Number (URN).
