Accordingly, as of March 2021, 6.5 billion liras within the scope of the Social Support Program carried out in three phases, 2.1 billion liras within the scope of the “We are enough for us Turkey Campaign”, 4 billion liras within the scope of normalization in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, short working hours. Approximately 60 billion liras of support was provided, including 31.5 billion liras in the scope of the appropriation, 10.2 billion liras in the cash wage support, and 5.6 billion liras in the unemployment benefit.
During the epidemic process, periodic shares sent to social assistance and solidarity foundations (SYDV) in 81 provinces were increased from 135 million liras to 180 million liras each month.
As of September this year, the number of social service centers has reached 370 in order to facilitate citizens’ access to social services and to solve their problems within the scope of efforts to increase the effectiveness of social services.
The number of disabled people employed reached 58 thousand 520
As of September 2021, the number of disabled care and rehabilitation centers providing boarding services for disabled citizens under the Ministry of Family and Social Services reached 104, and the number of centers providing day care services reached 280.
Within the scope of the Disabled Quota Program, which is carried out to increase the employment of disabled citizens, the number of disabled people employed in the public sector increased from 5 thousand 777 as of the end of 2002 to 58 thousand 520 as of June 2021.
The number and capacity of nursing homes affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Services increased approximately 2.5 times compared to 2002 and reached 162 as of September 2021.
Reached 513 thousand 974 households with the Family Social Support Program
As of the end of September, 221 thousand 487 people were trained within the scope of the Family Education Program (AEP) carried out by the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
While awareness training was given to 8,205 people within the scope of the Pre-Marriage Education Program, services were provided to 7,018 people within the scope of the Family Counseling Service.
Within the scope of Family Social Support Program (ASDEP), 513 thousand 974 households were reached in 2021.
