No shortage of figures in Kerala
The high test positivity rate in Kerala is a cause for concern. According to a report released by the Department of Health on Monday, the state’s test positivity is 18.86 percent. A total of 30,203 cases were reported yesterday. On Saturday, it was confirmed that 115 deaths in the past few days were due to Covid-19. 2,18,892 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment.
Statistics of relief for the country
In the last 24 hours, 41,965 new cases of Covid have been reported in the country, according to the Union Health Ministry. This brings the total number of Covid cases confirmed in the country to 3,28,10,845 crore. 16,06,785 inspections were carried out in the country yesterday. 52.31 crore inspections have been carried out in the country so far.
Slight reduction in mortality
According to the Union Ministry of Health, 460 new deaths have been reported in the country. This brings the total number of Covid deaths in the country to 4,39,020. Out of 460 Covid deaths, 115 deaths have been reported in Kerala. In Kerala, 20,788 people have died of Covid so far.
Increase in immunity
Statistics show that there is an increase in the number of Covid liberators in the country. The cure rate is 97.51 percent. Covid liberated 33,964 people in the last 24 hours. With this, 3,19,93,644 people have so far got rid of Covid. There are 3,78,181 active cases in various states. Of these, more than two lakh active patients are in Kerala.
The record vaccination in the country took place yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 1,33,18,718 people have been vaccinated with the Covid vaccine, bringing the total number of vaccinations to 65,41,13,508, according to data released by the Union Ministry of Health this morning. This is the second time that more than a crore vaccines have been distributed a day.
