Four Palestinians were killed and at least 5 injured in clashes with Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank. This was reported by the Haaretz newspaper with reference to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Israeli security forces reportedly carried out raids to detain Palestinians in 5 different areas of the West Bank, in particular in the village of Beit Anan in the Ramallah suburb and in the villages of Burkin and Kafr Dan west of Jenin, where 4 Palestinians were killed in the clashes.
It is also reported that Israel took the necessary measures against a possible rocket attack from the blocked Gaza Strip in response to the death of 4 Palestinians.
The victims were believed to have been members of the Palestinian movement Hamas.
The Palestinian Authority has not yet commented on the information.
