On stage, Le Hoang Phuong was moved when looking back on her year in office and taking the final steps of her term. She said that the final walk moment (the last step in her term as a beauty queen) had a special meaning to her. Because it marked the beauty’s 10-year journey of pursuing her passion for art.
Throughout her tenure as Miss, Le Hoang Phuong often wore Le Ngoc Lam dresses on important occasions. According to Le Ngoc Lam, attaching the small beads scattered all over the surface of the dress is the stage that takes him the most effort and time, especially to make the stones aligned, in the desired shape. The shape does not have many new points, but to handle the details to make them really stand out is not easy. “I always feel pressured to make the dress both Miss Grand-like and suitable for Hoang Phuong’s figure. The dress is made from transparent mesh fabric, embellished with 3,500 light-catching crystals, more than 1,000 Swarovski crystals in hundreds of hours of work by skilled artisans. In particular, the chest structure is meticulously embellished to create a 3D effect, depicting the image of waves. Le Ngoc Lam combines asymmetrical techniques to create a graceful, soft connection with the lower body. The main color of the outfit is silver, representing elegance and power, just like the sparkle of sunlight on the waves.
Le Ngoc Lam said he and Le Hoang Phuong have been together since she competed. Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 until now. “After 5 years of working with Phuong, I clearly see changes in Phuong’s style and demeanor. After many hardships and challenges, Phuong has become more and more mature. The relationship with Phuong is not just a simple work relationship but also a family relationship,” the designer shared.
Le Hoang Phuong was born in 1995, from Khanh Hoa. She is 1.76 m tall, with measurements of 86-61-94 cm. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture – Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. The beauty crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 and exam Miss Grand International same year. At the contest, she won the 4th runner-up position.
