Chandigarh: Big blow to Haryana’s politics. Former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala passed away on Friday, December 20. Om Prakash Chautala breathed his last at his Gurugram residence at the age of 89. Chautala was brought to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram at 11.30 am, but by then he had died.
Haryana government has declared 3-day state mourning on the demise of INLD supremo and former Haryana Chief Minister Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala. His last rites will be performed with state honors in Sirsa on 21st December.
Let us tell you that he was ill for a long time. He was undergoing treatment in Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. Om Prakash Chautala was born on January 1, 1935 in Chautala village, Sirsa, Haryana. He has been the CM of Haryana. Om Prakash Chautala has been counted among the veteran leaders of the country.
