It is the world’s largest national flag made of Khadi. In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) said that this giant tricolor will be displayed at Longewala, located on the India-Pakistan border. The Longewala border post has been a witness to a historic battle in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. According to this statement, the world’s largest national flag made of Khadi will be put on display at the border post located in Jaisalmer on the occasion of Army Day. This will be the fifth public display of the giant tricolor, 225 feet long, 150 feet wide and weighing about 1,400 kg, the ministry said.
