A six-year-old nephew of a 23-year-old girl who was burnt to death in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district after a gang rape in December 2019 was kidnapped from outside her house on Friday.
According to the report of Indian Express, three policemen charged for the safety of the family have been suspended on charges of negligence. The police has started a search operation to locate the child.
The three suspended policemen have been identified as Narendra Yadav, Anuj and Rajesh Kumar.
In the case of the kidnapping of the girl’s nephew, the police questioned the gangrape accused, but they have denied any information about the child studying in class 1.
Superintendent of Police of Unnao Suresh Rao A. Kulkarni said that five suspects in the kidnapping case – Captain Bajpai, Saroj Trivedi, Anita Trivedi, Sundar Lodhi and Harshit Bajpai – have been accused as members of the family of the accused in the gangrape and murder case.
A team of at least 14 policemen has been formed to trace the kidnapped child, who is raiding various places to locate the child. The police have already searched the village and a team has been sent to Rae Bareli.
Unnao’s officer Kripa Shankar Kanaujia said that the child went missing at around 4 pm on October 2. His family searched for him and then informed the security personnel about it. After this, security personnel informed the nearest police station.

After this, in December 2019, when she was going to court for the hearing of the gangrape case, the accused burnt her. He died after this. The accused are in jail and the trial has started.
The victim had alleged that she was abducted and raped by Shivam and Shubham Trivedi in December 2018. However, an FIR in this regard was filed in March last year.
The woman had said in her complaint that Shivam Trivedi had taken her with her to Rae Bareli on the pretext of marriage and raped her there.
After this, when the woman asked him to marry her, the accused along with his friends raped her at the point of the gun.
In the FIR lodged in March last year, the victim had said that five people raped her several times in 2018. Out of these, Shivam and Shubham Trivedi were later arrested and sent to jail.
On December 3, Shivam and Shubham Trivedi were granted bail. Both of them along with three others conspired to burn the woman alive.
In a statement given to the Sub Divisional Magistrate, the victim had said that she was going to Baiswara station to go to Rae Bareli at four in the morning on Thursday (December 5, 2019) when only the pre-existing Harishankar Trivedi, Ramkishore Trivedi, Umesh near Gaur village turn Shivam and Shubham Trivedi, accused of raping Vajpayee, allegedly carried out several stabs with knives after beating them with sticks and sticks. After this, put petrol and set it on fire.
The next day, on 6 December 2019, the woman died in Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi.
