Market regulator had alerted
Seeing the way the smallcap and midcap segments have grown in the recent past, the market regulator had cautioned about both these segments. It was being seen as a smallcap bubble and a midcap bubble. However, investors’ trust in these segments has remained intact, which is evident from the strength of both the indices this year. At the same time, experts say that one should not be surprised at the increasing domestic participation in smallcap. It is supported by the strong fundamentals of smallcap.
