Poisonous liquor has wreaked havoc in two villages of Morena district of Madhya Pradesh. In Morena, 10 people have died due to consuming poisonous liquor. At the same time, many people have fallen ill. Two people in critical condition have been sent to Gwalior for treatment. 6 sick people are being treated in Morena hospital. The bodies of the dead have been sent for postmortem.
According to reports, this case is related to Manpur village and Pahawali village. 5 people of Manpur Prithvi village of Bagchini police station and 3 people of Pahavali village of Sumavali police station are victims of poisonous liquor.
As soon as information was received about the incident, IG Chambal, DIG Chambal, Morena Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police, including senior officials rushed to meet the sick people. The same Superintendent of Police himself reached the Manpur Prithvi village and inquired about the incident.
In the Manpur Prithvi village of Morena, the condition of people started getting worse late Monday evening, after which they were brought to the district hospital, in which two brain dead were brought. Out of the two people who were sent to Gwalior for treatment, one of them died. So far five people have died.
At the same time, in the second incident, two brothers and their uncle died of poisonous liquor. Three people consumed alcohol together in Pahavali village of Sumavali police station area of the district. After some time, they were brought to Morena when the situation worsened, where the condition of uncle-nephew was critical and sent to Gwalior. All three died in Morena and Gwalior during treatment.

A few days ago in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, five people died due to drinking poisonous liquor and many fell seriously ill. The patients were admitted to hospitals in Bulandshahr and Noida. Police arrested the liquor mafia Kuldeep from Delhi, the main accused in this liquor incident.
